World class standards in the Northern Ireland construction industry were celebrated at this years CRL Awards Dinner. The annual event, which also raises record amounts for charity, took place recently at the Hilton Hotel Templepatrick. It's been a big year for us, with the launch of new products, re-locating, and CRL going south! The support for last year's event was over whelming and to everyone's delight it was even greater this year!

As always the evening had a theme - this year it was 'Casino Royale' following the most recent James Bond film. The auction and raffle was a tremendous success raising a massive amount for charity with some fantastic prizes won in the raffle and bid for in the auction including 5 nights for 5 couples in a luxurious French Château in the fabulous Bordeaux wine region and pictures by top Local Artists, including none other than Neil Shawcross.

BBC's Dr. Wendy Austin took on the role of compére, setting a relaxed and informal tone for the evening. The programme was packed full of entertainment, from the dinner, the auction, the raffle and of course finishing with music by none other than Belfast's own singer/songwriter Brian Houston, who has played alongside both Van Morrison and Elvis Costello! 

For our members the presentation of the awards was the highlight of the evening. Our Building Surveyors put forward the names of schemes which were considered to be ahead of the curve in their field, and there were more short-listed developments and companies than ever before.

CRL would like to congratulate all of this year's nominees and award winners, and thank all attendees who once again made the evening so memorable.

The Directors and staff are already looking forward to hosting an even bigger and better event next year!
